“Friendly non-smoking neighborhood bar”

Roadside opened in November 2011 after a group of friends with no bar experience spent a year rebuilding an old shuttered bar on Old Hickory Boulevard, aiming for a non-smoking neighborhood spot with good food and some live music. It is a regular stop for golfers coming off the Hermitage and Old Hickory courses and for the lake crowd, and it hosts a big Wounded Warrior Project anniversary ride each November.

Happy hour runs Monday to Friday from open until 7 PM with $1 off beer, hard cider and well liquor. The rest of the week has deals too: Tuesday trivia with 25% off Bushwhackers and dips, Wednesday wing discounts, and $3 off buckets on weekends.
