Southside Grill is a family-owned neighborhood restaurant in Sugar Valley, off Nolensville Pike near the Brentwood line, open since 2010. The cooking is contemporary American with Greek touches from the family: octopus, a Mediterranean plate, lamb chops, black and bleu tortellini and a truffle burger. Happy hour runs Tuesday to Saturday from 4 to 6:30 PM with $7 mixers and house wines, $10 martinis and $1 off beer, and Sunday brunch (10 AM to 2 PM) brings $7 mimosas and a Greek scrambler. There is a bar and a covered patio.
