“Casual BBQ joint with a hideaway bar upstairs”

The Ridge calls itself a traditional BBQ joint with a twist, run by two partners who blended their styles, which shows in plates like the Chicano and Texican sandwiches next to hickory-smoked ribs, brisket and catfish. Wings are smoked then flash-fried, and burgers are half-pound hand-patted patties.

Upstairs is The Attic Bar, a small hideaway with margaritas in 16 or 22 ounces, a Picklerita and a PBR and shot combo, and a daily happy hour (ask the bar for the times and deals). Friday nights bring all-you-can-eat catfish from 5 PM to close.
