Elm Hill Tavern calls itself 'the neighborhood bar you are looking for,' and it is a true late-night local: open 11 AM to 3 AM every day with food until 2 AM, on Elm Hill Pike between the airport hotels and Briley Parkway. Inside there are pool tables, darts, skee-ball, a jukebox, TVs and a projector screen for games, and poker league nights.

The kitchen is known for big tavern sandwiches (prime rib, The Raven with pastrami and turkey on rye), burgers and thin-crust pizza. Happy hour runs 11 AM to 7 PM on weekdays.
