“Old-school family restaurant with a busy bar”

Darfons has been feeding Donelson since 1989, and it is still run by first cousins Bill and Sam Darsinos. The menu stretches from classic steakhouse cuts (ribeye, filet, prime rib after 3 PM) to seared tuna, lamb chops and a Wagyu burger, with a proper cocktail and wine list behind the bar.

Happy hour runs Monday to Saturday from 3 to 6 PM with $8 classic cocktails, $5 drafts and $7 select wines, and Saturday brunch goes 11 AM to 2 PM. Bar seating is kept for walk-ins, and the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
