“Cozy Irish pub with a music stage”

McNamara's is Donelson's Irish pub, a few steps off the corner of Lebanon Pike and Donelson Pike. The kitchen does the classics properly: fish and chips, Shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, Scotch eggs and a half-pound Big Fella burger topped with Irish bacon, Irish cheddar and a fried egg. Guinness is on draft and imperial pints are 20 ounces.

Traditional and local music plays on the downstairs main stage, with more upstairs in Turk's Lounge. Happy hour is 2 to 5 PM, Tuesday to Friday (the pub is closed Sundays and Mondays), and takes $1 off every appetizer.
