Fat Bottom has been brewing in The Nations for years, and the 44th Ave N taproom is built for hanging out: a big family-friendly beer garden, a sunny patio and ample free parking. The kitchen leans pub food, from soft pretzels with the house beer cheese to smashburgers, wings and flatbreads.

The weekly lineup is the draw. Monday has $4 drafts, Thursday trivia comes with $4 select beers, and Fat Bottom Fridays bring $8 apps and $8 light beer pitchers from 4 to 9 PM. Saturdays have live music in the afternoon.
