Gannons is a restaurant, oyster bar and cocktail lounge on 4th Avenue North with live jazz, a short walk from Broadway. The dinner menu leans New Orleans and steakhouse: raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller and oysters brie, turtle soup au sherry, lobster bisque, eggplant Olivia with shrimp and crab mornay, prime rib and filet. Happy hour runs 3 to 6 PM before the 5 PM kitchen opening, and the restaurant validates parking at the 4th & Commerce garage next door. It sits inside the Courtyard Marriott downtown and serves breakfast every morning too.
