“Warm, family-friendly neighborhood Italian”
Nicky's has been a family-owned anchor on Centennial Blvd since 2016, run by Caroline and Tony. The pizzas come out of what the restaurant calls Tennessee's only coal-burning pizza oven, on a sourdough crust made daily, and the pastas are made in house, including Mama G's meatballs from a third-generation family recipe.
The bar leans Italian: spritzes, a pepperoncini martini, Peroni on tap and house wine by the half liter. The restaurant bills its daily 5 to 6 PM happy hour as the best in The Nations. It opens at 5 PM every day.
