“Small, polished Mediterranean dining room and bar”

Santo is a modern Mediterranean bistro on the ground floor of the Vertis building on Hillsboro Pike, behind the blue facade with the brass window. The kitchen makes its own pasta and leans on whipped feta, hummus, oysters, flatbreads and Middle Eastern spiced lamb, and the bar pours old-world wines and classic cocktails. Happy hour runs Monday through Saturday, 4-6 PM, with $10 French 75s, Manhattans, martinis and spicy margaritas, $9 wine and a $5 Highland pilsner. Parking in the garage below is validated for two hours.
