“Welcoming, queer-friendly neighborhood hang”

Frankie J's is a small 6th Avenue neighborhood bar with a back patio, a coffee bar in the front room and a full kitchen turning out tacos, quesadillas, shrimp cocktail and loaded fries. It runs a busy calendar: trivia on Tuesdays at 7 PM, game night on Thursdays, drag shows, the Sunday Jack the Joker drawing and pop-ups out back. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 PM Tuesday through Thursday and 11 AM to 6 PM Friday through Sunday, and the kitchen opens at 5 PM Tuesday through Thursday and at noon Friday through Sunday. It is 21 and up, and closed Mondays.
