“Refined but relaxed Latin American cafe”

Tantísimo is a Latin American cafe and restaurant on 46th Ave N near Elkins Ave, on the Sylvan Heights edge of Sylvan Park. Chefs Ana Aguilar and Joshua Cook cook a seasonal, farm-sourced menu with Mexican roots and borrowings from Peru, Colombia and Argentina, built around shareable plates like yuca encebollada, esquites and a chuck eye steak.

Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 2 PM, with churro waffles, chilaquiles, breakfast tacos and steak and eggs. The bar pours Latin classics like a pisco sour and caipirinha, and happy hour (4 to 6 PM) brings $10 house cocktails, $3 lagers, bar bites and a grilled piña colada you can only get then.
