“Rooftop with skyline views”

Top Note is a seventh-floor rooftop restaurant and bar on 3rd Avenue North, a few blocks up from the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of Fame, with skyline views and a Southern-leaning menu: Nashville hot chicken, a TN craft burger, bronzed black cod and a bone-in ribeye. Happy hour runs every day from 4 to 6 PM, right when it opens, with discounted drafts, house wines and well drinks plus a few appetizers like southern fried chicken crisps. It also pours its own Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select. Local artists play live sets on the rooftop every Tuesday and Thursday, 5 to 8 PM. To get up, go through the door under the big Top Note sign on 3rd Avenue and take the elevator to 7R, which opens right into the restaurant; skip the hotel lobby.
