“Bright, upscale coastal dining room”

Bar Mar is José Andrés' coastal seafood restaurant inside the W Nashville (Zaytinya, another José Andrés restaurant, is next door). The menu runs from oysters on ice and ceviches to octopus a la Gallega, lobster rolls, Ibérico pork and a ribeye, with festive cocktails in a bright, design-forward room. Dinner is pricey, but Coastal Hour, 5 to 7 PM in the bar, lounge and patio, is the easier way in: $10 cocktails and Spanish wines, $5 Estrella Damm or Basque cider, and snacks like $8 patatas bravas and an $18 smashed burger.
