The Gumbo Bros is a Cajun spot on 12th Avenue South, the Nashville-area group's Gulch location (the other is in Murfreesboro). The menu covers dark-roux chicken and sausage gumbo, étouffée, red beans and rice, po' boys on Leidenheimer French bread from the New Orleans bakery, boudin balls and double-cooked wings. Happy hour is dine-in only, weekdays 3 to 6 PM and all day Tuesday, with $5 cups of gumbo or red beans, $6 drafts, wine and wells, and $9 Hurricanes and frozen drinks. Monday brings $1 wings. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 3 PM, with an alligator Benny and Cajun Bloody Marys.
