Ella's on 2nd is the all-day Italian-American restaurant inside the Hyatt Centric on Molloy Street, a block off 2nd Ave S. It serves breakfast every morning, weekend brunch (tiramisu French toast sticks, eggs in purgatory, ricotta pancakes, lumache alla vodka), and dinner plates like meatballs and steak frites. The bar is the local move: happy hour runs every day from 2:30 to 5:30 PM at the bar only, with a $10 Nelson's Green Brier old fashioned, $10 margarita or Aperol spritz, $5 drafts, $6 house wine and $12 wings. Saturday brunch has live local music from 11 AM to 2 PM, and during NFL games on Sundays and Mondays a signature pizza and a pint are $20.
