“Speakeasy-style bar with live acoustic music”

1865 Club is a 21-and-up cocktail bar in a former tobacco barn and auction house on 21st Ave N, just north of Charlotte. It runs speakeasy-style, with a signature cocktail list (a Nashville hot honey old fashioned with a Tajin rim, a whipped-cream Lime and Lush margarita) and live acoustic sets, writers rounds and showcases.

Happy hour is Wednesday through Friday, 4 to 6 PM, with $10 classic cocktails, against $17 to $18 for the house list. Snacks run to charcuterie, burrata and mini pizzettas. Seating is first come, first served; call ahead for groups of five or more.
