“Moody, playful neighborhood cocktail bar”

Love's Alibi is a cocktail-forward neighborhood bar on Gleaves Street from the crew behind Barrel Proof, opened in January 2026. Think soft neon, quick $14 house cocktails, a weekly team-pick drink that changes every Wednesday, and bar food that goes past the usual: smashburgers, popcorn chicken with madras curry, flatbreads and Sunday housemade pasta. Happy hour runs 3 to 6 PM every day, with $8 classic cocktails and wine, an $8 smashburger and $6 wings. Walk-ins welcome; it stays open until 1 AM nightly.
