Roasted is a Black-owned, women-owned brunch spot on Demonbreun (on maps, look for Roasted @ Flavors 90 Bar). The made-to-order menu leans on African American food traditions: honey butter chicken, Cajun butter shrimp, salmon croquettes, cheesy Cajun grits and bananas foster French toast, with a $35 deal for one entree and three sides.
It is a lively room, often with a DJ, and the bar runs flavored mimosas and Hennessy cocktails. Happy hour is Wednesday to Friday, 4 to 8 PM: half off the entire bar plus $10 wings and fries, catfish bites and fries or a quesadilla and fries. Closed Monday and Tuesday. All ages are welcome until 8 PM, and a DJ plays rap and R&B on weekends.
